Benefits

  • Improves Digestion: Ghee is known in Ayurveda for its digestive properties. It contains butyric acid, which is believed to support digestive health by promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria and aiding in the absorption of nutrients.
  • Improves Immunity: Ghee is rich in antioxidants like vitamin A and vitamin E, which help strengthen the immune system by combating free radicals that can damage cells and weaken immunity. The presence of omega-3 fatty acids may also contribute to immune function.
  • Rich Source of Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Gir Cow Ghee is reported to contain higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids compared to ghee from other breeds. Omega-3s are essential fatty acids known for their anti-inflammatory properties, which can benefit heart health and overall well-being.
  • Rich in Beta Carotene and Vitamin A: Beta carotene is converted into vitamin A in the body, which is crucial for vision, immune function, and skin health. Vitamin A also acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from damage.
  • Good for Heart: Ghee, when consumed in moderation as part of a balanced diet, may have beneficial effects on heart health. It contains healthy fats that can raise HDL (good) cholesterol levels and improve the ratio of HDL to LDL (bad) cholesterol, potentially reducing the risk of heart disease.

Where does our Gir Cow Milk & Ghee comes from?

A2 Beta Casein Milk: A2 Gir cows typically produce milk with only A2 beta casein protein, which some studies suggest may be easier to digest compared to A1 beta casein found in milk from other breeds.

Natural and Ethical Farming: Our cows are raised in a natural and ethical environment. They graze freely on grass grown without chemical fertilizers or insecticides, adhering to Ahimsa ethics. This natural diet contributes to the purity and quality of the milk and ghee produced.

Traditional Preparation: The ghee-making process involves traditional methods like the Bilhona process, where curd is churned to butter and then slowly melted to produce ghee. This process helps retain the natural flavors and beneficial properties of the milk.

Nutritional Benefits: A2 Gir Cow Ghee is reputed for its nutritional benefits, including being a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, beta carotene, and vitamin A. These nutrients contribute to improved digestion, enhanced immunity, and potential benefits for heart health.

No Artificial Additives: A2 gir cow ghee is prepared without any artificial additives, preservatives, flavor enhancers, or colors. The use of natural ingredients like herbs during the ghee-making process further enhances its health-promoting properties.

Calf Care and Sustainability: Ensuring that calves receive half of the milk and maintaining the integrity of the cow lineage through careful breeding practices demonstrates a commitment to sustainability and animal welfare.

Community Engagement: By providing buttermilk to local villagers and students, we foster community engagement and contribute positively to the local ecosystem.

In summary, Gir Cow Ghee from Anahata farm stands out not only for its nutritional richness and health benefits but also for the ethical and traditional methods used in its production. Our cow milk comes from our own cows, not vendors. These are freely grazing cows , feed on grass grown on our own fields, no fertilizers or insecticides are used on our farm. Our Calf gets half , with two teats reserved for their drinking.

Further the milk is not creamed like many ghee makers do, but curlded and then churned in bilhona process traditionally followed. The buttermilk is given away to local villagers and students.

No flavor enhancer, preservative or anything except Paan and a little aushadhi is added during Ghee making.

——Vaidika Gurukulam Gaushala Ghee Has Following Features ——

Natural Breeding: Your cows are never artificially inseminated. Bulls from different family lines are used, and Gotra separation is maintained to ensure healthy breeding practices.

Calf Care: Calves receive half of the milk, with two teats reserved exclusively for them. Milk for ghee production is only taken from the remaining teats.

Natural Diet: Cows graze freely on grass that is grown without insecticides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers. They also enjoy special treats like herbs, boiled wheat, gur (jaggery), and edible oils.

Ethical Treatment: Cows are never sold, and even old cows are taken care of within your facility. Bull calves are transferred to known Gaushalas for studding purposes rather than being sold.

Traditional Ghee Making: Ghee is produced using the Vaidika Bilhona process, which involves curlding milk to butter and then melting it slowly over gomaya (cow dung) for six hours. This traditional method helps preserve the natural qualities and flavors of the ghee.

Pure and Natural: Anahata ghee is free from artificial enhancements such as taste enhancers, smell enhancers, or colors. Natural ingredients like turmeric, Shatavari plant, and betel leaves may be added during the ghee-making process.

No Cow Urine: Contrary to misconceptions, Gau Mutra (cow urine) is not added to your ghee or involved in the ghee-making process.

These practices ensure that A2 Gir Cow Ghee from Anahata farm is not only nutritious but also produced in an ethical and sustainable manner. Consumers can trust in the purity and traditional values upheld in every step of production, reflecting a commitment to both Vedic principles and quality standards.
